Prayer To Walk By Faith And Not By Sight
In the dark seasons of life, do you feel tempted to ask God questions? Do you lose faith in God’s promises for your life? You question if God still loves you?
God does not change His mind about you. He loves you with an everlasting love, and He rejoices over you with singing. Never doubt what God has promised you in the light just because it is dark. Remember, it’s in the dark where your light needs to shine.
Zephaniah 3:17. “The Lord your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”
Be strong in the Lord. When it seems dark, confess what you have seen in the light. Speak God’s promises in your sickness, in your lack and when there seems to be no way out.
We do not walk by sight, but by faith. We do not change our confession because of circumstances, but we keep trusting God to come through for us as He has promised.
2 Corinthians 5:7. For we walk by faith, not by sight.
God doesn’t leave us because we are sick or in debt or in any circumstance. The presence of difficulties does not mean God is absent.
So, maintain your positive confession. Jesus Christ was in the boat with his disciples when a storm hit their boat. He didn’t abandon them then and he will not abandon you now. Storms will come, but he will see you through.
Let Us Pray
Heavenly Father, the Unchanging and Ever-Faithful God, You are my Rock, my Shield, and my Strength. Your Word is true, and Your promises never fail. Though my eyes may not always see the way, my heart chooses to trust in You. Today, I declare that I will walk by faith and not by sight.
Dear Lord, help me today, to realize that You are faithful to Your promises. You are not a man that You should lie, neither a son of man for You to change Your mind.
Numbers 23:19. “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

Walking By Faith
Heavenly Father, you are intentional about me and my life is well planned out before You. You are also a responsible Father who cares about me. So, help me to trust You despite the circumstances. Help me to walk not by sight, but by faith.
Increase my understanding of your Holy Word, oh Lord, and give me a hunger for your truth. Help me to trust in your promises, even when I cannot see the way ahead. And give me the courage to act on my faith, even when it is difficult or uncomfortable.
2 Corinthians 4:18. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
Abba Father, help me to trust in You. Remove all doubt from my heart. Strengthen me when I am weak, and give me the grace to persevere in my faith, no matter what challenges I may face.
I declare that I am strong in faith, giving glory to You in every season. My faith is active, my hope is unwavering, and my trust in You is unshakable. No matter what I face, I will keep my eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of my faith.
Thank You, Lord, for guiding me, for upholding me, and for being faithful to Your promises. I choose to walk boldly, to believe wholeheartedly, and to trust You completely. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray. Amen!
Psalms 138:2. I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your unfailing love and your faithfulness, for you have so exalted your solemn decree that it surpasses your fame.
