Prayer: Breaking Generational Curses
God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and Jesus Christ, the Son, who died for me so that I may have a beautiful life. I praise You in the midst of the current challenges that have been plaguing me and I glorify and magnify Your name.
You, my Mighty Deliverer, are great and so worthy of my praise. Today, I come to you to be set free of all generational curses brought about by the sins of my forefathers.
Genesis 12:3 – I will bless those who bless you. And I will curse him who curses you. And all the families of the earth will be blessed through you.
Exodus 20:5-6 – ...I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
I plead for Your Holy Spirit to bind and break the strongholds
Heavenly Father, I have been confronted with so many situations in my life, circumstances that had previously affected my parents and grandparents.
I plead for Your Holy Spirit to bind and break the strongholds of these generational curses. Purge and destroy these weaknesses that have been passed through the blood from generation to generation.
The devil came to steal, kill and destroy me but thankfully I know that You give life. I need Your help, Lord, in breaking the chains of generational curses that have held me captive and in bondage.
These curses will stop here! Today! They will not travel to my children, or my children’s children.
I pray for direction as I put on the armor of God which will protect me as I stand against, and dispel, all the evil and negative forces around me.
John 10 : 10 – The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Numbers 14:18 – ‘The Lord is longsuffering and abundant in mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression; but He by no means clears the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation.’
I Surrender My Life To You
I surrender my life to You. When the enemy comes in like a flood, I will not be defeated because I have been sealed by the Holy Spirit.
I have already been set free from all generational curses through the blood of Jesus, and now I declare that I have been completely delivered.
I declare that I will hear the voice of the Holy Spirit and, with HIS guidance, I will walk in obedience to You and Your Word.
Thank You for bringing me into the freedom I have through Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray…SO BE IT…AMEN!

That the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus. That we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Ephesians 6:11 – Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Jesus has been so good to me and my family. I have been through so much and my family, I know God can do all things.
Entering the yr it’s been so hard for every where I am I’m kicked out it’s my own family. I’m at the edge I believe in u father n I do feel I’m cursed .I have bad dreams wake up screaming. I need deliverance in my life because everything concerning my life is so slow & stagnant. My mother has five girls, all of them has married but no bride price was paid on any of them so many grand kids are under the care of my Mum and the Boys are married with no bride price paid on any of their wives including myself. I’ve been reading some of the comments and want to join the discussion because when I look at my life I wonder why I am still alive. Not to trivialize others story but many on this platform story seems pale compared to me and my family. I feel like i’m at the breaking point and I need help through deliverance and healing. My family and i have been plagued by a generational curse that I can trace back to my maternal great grand mother. It has continue to affect every member of my family. When i look at the breaking generational curse prayer, I think it was said for me as it touches every aspect of my life and more. My maternal great grandmother had 5 children and all were affected with mental illness. One died at an early age and one is still alive who has been mentally ill since age 20, she is 100 yrs old. I currently takes care of her . My late grandmother is the only one of my great grandmother ‘s children to have kids and she too suffered from mental illness although it was not as severe as her siblings. My grandmother had 7 children and all have experience a high level of personal failures. most have them have never been married or had short unsuccessful marriages. My aunts and my mom all have children with partners who did not help in rearing us. My uncles are all alcoholics who hasn’t been able to hold jobs. All my family members have some level of education but hasn’t been able to continue their studies or utilize it because of lack of opportunities and failures. My life has been one of failures and failures. I was able to attend graduate school after many years of failing classes , I persevered and got my masters degree which I haven’t used since achieving it in 2015. Telling my story is overwhelming and Its just too much to continue writing. I”m asking for prayer on behalf of my family and I . I feel hopeless and defeated and wonder how long can I continue living this way.
Sounds like my life Im currently going to a psychic who also knows how to get rid of spiritual curses that have been put on to my family long ago and it became generational. I’m seeing so much changes slowly and its getting better!?? thank you lord for showing me the path I need to be on which was to find someone who can get rid of my family generational curse because I don’t know how to get rid of black magic . Im WJ. I have spent my entire life alone and very very lonely. I believe I am cursed from birth. No idea why. I would like to have a relationship with a special woman I have someone in mind but no one is able to love me or be with me for some reason perhaps this curse. Hi I have been going through the same thing all of my life.Years ago a lady in las vegas read my palm and told me that someone had put a curse on me to never have happiness with no man.I have read into it and looked over my life and I started seeing that it had some truth to it.Im still single to this day and lonely.
